It has felt like we’ve been ‘nearly there’ for a long time, but these photos show that we really are now very close; just weeks away from opening the building to the public and welcoming our first customers to the Tea Room at Bricket Wood Station.
However it is still not yet possible to give a firm opening date because there is work remaining to do, including some final coats of paint and varnish, the commissioning and signing off of the electrics and the building regulations, the delivery of the bins and dozens of other ‘small jobs’ which all add up, as anybody that has ever run a project will know, especially one involving an old building! We want to ensure that when we do open our doors, everything is just right.
In the meantime we hope you like our new tables and chairs….
